Founded in 1953，Tianjin Electronic Information College is a public vocational college offering full time higher education. TEIC is one of the top 100 national demonstrative vocational colleges and is among the first vocational colleges that collaborate with universities for four-year program. The college has staged many years National Vocational Students Skills Competition in a row and the first prize-winning students from our college were employed by Tsinghua University.

TEIC covers an area of about 0.5 square kilometers and has over 10000 registered students, 5 departments and three centers. Currently, there are 352 full-time teachers, 33 professors, 182 associate professors. TEIC is famous for electronic information majors and has delivered thousands of qualified graduates for society.

       For the purpose of catching up with the tide of international vocational education and turn the students to localization talents with international vision, TEIC signed agreements with 13 overseas institutions, which provide an international exchange platform for both teachers and students.
