Tongren Polytechnic College (TPC), approved by the People's Government of Guizhou Province, was founded in June, 2002. It is a public and full-time higher vocational college which consists of 13 schools, offers 30 programs and boasts 910 teaching and administrative staffs. TPC is located in the famous Western city of Tongren and covers an area of 94 hectares. The college has admitted over 800 international students from more than 40 countries since 2011. Established in 2013 by Confucius Institute (Hanban), TPC's HSK Test Center has provided Chinese test service for more than 2800 candidates from 25 countries, with a pass rate over 90%. The Center has attracted international students from universities around, overseas Chinese students, foreign experts in Guizhou Province and social personnel to take Chinese training program and HSK test here in TPC.
