Shanxi Medical University Jinci College , founded in 2002, is the one and only Independent college mainly including medical education in Shanxi province. There are two campus including Jinci and Jinzhong. Jinci Campus, located in Taiyuan which has a long history more than 2500 years, famous for its beautiful environment , is an ideal for learning. Jinzhong Campus, with a special building style--European architecture, is situated in Economic Development Zone of Qi county in Jinzhong, which is next to the cradle of Jinci merchants----Qiao’s Grand Courtyard. Jinci College gives priority to international exchange, mainly aims to foster students’ creative and practical abilities so that they could become the talents who are able to adapt to the modern medical model and the reform of health care system.

　　Now the college includes clinic medical department, nursing department, oral medical department, preventive medical department, medical imaging department, laboratory medicine department, rehabilitation department and basic courses department. There are fourteen record- filing majors, including clinic medicine, oral medicine, anesthesia medicine,preventive medicine,laboratory medicine, medical imaging, rehabilitation, and so on.
